StephanieI had an extremely disappointing experience with bikini laser hair removal. During the session, I suffered a laser burn on my arm due to a reflection and developed photokeratitis, which left my eye severely swollen and red. My eyes remained painfully swollen and teary throughout the evening, and I had to visit the emergency room seven hours after the treatment. The doctor there confirmed that my symptoms pointed to UV rays and explained that these injuries could result from laser treatment, regardless of the treatment area's location, depending on how the equipment was handled and the intensity used. During my session, I repeatedly expressed pain due to the intensity, and the beautician adjusted the machine multiple times. Despite this, Madame Beauty Institut only offered a small token product instead of refunding my treatment cost, dismissing my complaint and not expressing any sympathy. Even if this was a complete accident, their lack of care and compassion following such a frightening incident is deeply concerning. Given that I've been a regular client for some time, this response leaves me questioning their professionalism. They even tried to shift the blame to sun exposure, which is implausible given the rainy and cloudy weather that day. I went in without a burn and left with one. I urge others to consider this lack of accountability before seeking treatment here.
